Students were tasked with creating a compelling poster with an emphasis on experimental typography that centered on a chosen fine art artist with their signature medium. Letterforms from the poster were then digitize and used to create a full alphabet font using Glyphs.

A fictional guest artist poster for Felicia Chiao, a visual artist based in San Francisco was made using Copic markers, fine black marker, and toned paper. Letterforms were inspired by shadow creatures that appear in many of her work.
