Using six haikus and typefaces students created a short type specimen book. The use of graphics and page layout was left up to the students.

With many of the chosen haikus being about nature, I decided to use that as inspiration for imagery and layout of the book. To create a simple and interesting cover, but still convey the contents of the book I screen printed and did a letter cutout for the cover treatment.
