Students were tasked with creating a brand and product line that focused on surface design. The products need to be a line of eight items that was up to the students to decide on what they would be.

For my brand I decided to go with my initials, “J.W.” because I felt it was uniquely me and felt personal to me, which correlated with how personal the idea and message behind the products were. I created a cursive logo because I felt it had this friendly approach to it and felt personalized.

The mug and phone case product line focus on the novelty of travel and memories. Instead of focusing on the location, I focused on food. A big aspect of travel is trying local specialties. Thus each product represents a location and the foods that originated or have become associated with that location.
